Young Artists Workshop

The Young Artists Workshop is more than simply a participating in a summer play--It is a training ground for aspiring theatre artists. Working with professional artists and college instructors, each child takes a series of classes demonstrating the basics of contemporary theatre. Young Artists will learn the following theatrical skills:

  • Auditioning
  • Acting
  • Ensemble Work
  • Mask Work
  • Text Interpretation
  • Set Design
  • Costume Design
  • Properties Construction

The workshop culminates in a final performance of the musical Willy Wonka, JR. Shows are open to the public and presented in Concordia University’s Bergmann Theatre. Young Artsits Worksop runs June 17-August 4th, there are NO CLASSES July 1-5th.
