• Real-World Application: After learning about the not-for-profit’s organizational purpose, governance and funding structures, students will participate in a service learning project that will transform theories into action.

Financial Management: Financial accountability and internal controls are essential in transforming an organization’s purpose into reality. Courses examine financial management tools for decision making such as operational forecasts, budgets and incremental analysis.

Recruiting and Fund Development: Recruiting and motivation of volunteers is an essential skill that our program develops. In addition, students will learn how to create and communicate current and long-range strategic plans and grant applications.
