Mathematics
There are two scholarships at Concordia that are intended for mathematics students.- Mathematics Department Scholarship. This scholarship was set up by the mathematics faculty at Concordia and is funded primarily by gifts made by mathematics professors. Students who are mathmematics majors (either in the liberal arts or secondary education) are eligible to apply. There are two awards available annually. Last year the department awarded two scholarships for $760 each.
- Winslow Endowment. Originated by a generous and annonymous gift, this scholarship is available to current Concordia students who are working toward a major or a specialization in mathematics. There is one Winslow Endowment scholarship available each year. Last year its value was $775.
Computer Science
There is one scholarship at Concordia that is intended for computer science students.Winslow Endowment. Originated by a generous and annonymous gift, this scholarship is available to current Concordia students who are working toward a major (either liberal arts or secondary education) in computer science. There is one Winslow Endowment award available annually. Last year its value was $555.
This scholarship is open to current full-time undergraduate students at Concordia. The applications are made in the spring for the next academic year. The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science determines to whom the award goes. This is a merit-based scholarship.
