Mathematics

The program prepares you for work in the classroom as a teacher, in industry, as a professional working with mathematics, and possible future work in graduate school.

Students completing the mathematics major at Concordia who are interested in an advanced degree are successful in gaining entrance to graduate programs. Some of our graduates have attended the following institutions: Northern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University, Iowa State University, College of William and Mary, Indiana University, Columbia University, Northwestern University, Purdue University, and DePaul University.

Computer Science

After graduation, many opportunities are before you. From Concordia, some have gone on to graduate studies at Illinois Institute of Technology, and Brown, Colorado, DePaul, and Northwestern Universities. Others have been employed at large and small firms, including Arthur Anderson, United Airlines, Santa Fe, Chicago Title and Trust, Commonwealth Edison, Hewitt Associates, Lucent Technologies, and Micron Computers.
