4 Year Graduation Rate: 47%
6 Year Graduation Rate: 60%

Retention Rates

Concordia University Chicago’s retention rate for our first-time, full-time, degree seeking undergraduate students entering Fall of 2010 returning Fall 2011 was 63%.

CAMPUS SECURITY

Campus Security Report

The Campus Security Department completes an annual security report to disclose information about campus security policies, including Sexual Assault Educational Programs, and crime statistics. For more information, please contact the Director of Public Safety at 708-209-3629.

CUC’s Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Policy is included in our annual Campus Security Report.

Emergency Response and Evacuation

Emergency Response and Evacuation procedures are distributed to all departments and residential facilities within the University. The Emergency Guide provides steps to take in the event an emergency occurs. In addition, employees and students of CUC are encouraged to sign-up for the Emergency Communication Service. For additional information, please contact the Director of Public Safety at 708-209-3629.

FINANCIAL AID

Federal Pell Grant Recipients

CUC’s Federal Pell Grant recipients totaled 601, which encompassed 41% of the enrolled traditional undergraduate student population in the Fall of 2011. Of these Pell recipients, 62% were female and 38% were male. The recipients of the Federal Pell Grant consisted of 40% Caucasian, 24% African American, 28% Hispanic/Latino, 2% Asian/Pacific Islander, 2.5% multiracial and 3.5% did not report.

Federal Stafford Loan Recipients 

CUC’s need based Direct Subsidized Loan recipients totaled 1,135 which encompassed 78% of the enrolled traditional undergraduate student population in the Fall of 2011.  A total of 195 recipients, 13% of the enrolled traditional undergraduate student population in the Fall of 2011, received only a non-need based Direct Unsubsidized Loan.
